Storyworld has built up it's own extensive, contemporary collection of works in the domain of comics, animation and games.
The last room is used as an exhibition space where we display the work of various artists several times a year. A Storyworld ticket gives you free entry to the mini exhibition too.
Storyworld shows you the fascinating world of illustrator and cartoonist Peter van Dongen. Van Dongen (1966) was born in Amsterdam, but also has an unbreakable bond with Indonesia. This Spotlight exhibit includes original comic book pages and sketches from Rampokan and Familieziek. In other work, such as illustrations and watercolors, Van Dongen shows us how wonderful Indonesia is.
